HPIN 251 & 352 Commercial Inspections I and II
To be qualified to do Commercial Inspections, Home Inspectors in the province of BC require significant additional education to upgrade their skills. Time in a conventional classroom would be 36 hours for each course.

Our Courses

The courses are offered individually so that participants can choose what they wish to study. Courses can be taken in any order.

Individual cost of courses is $650 for each 36 hour course and $250 for each 8 hour seminar. Participants are not required to commit to any more than one course at any particular time.

HPIN 253 BC Strata Act
Understanding the Strata Act and the roles and responsibilities of the various parties is a necessary part of the technical education required to perform Strata Depreciation Report inspections.
Time in a conventional classroom would be 8 hours for this seminar.
HPIN 111 Building Envelope Performance Principles
Basic Home Inspection education touches on the building envelope - Building Envelope Performance Principles provides a more complete foundation for single family and multi-family residential building(MURB) inspections. Time in a conventional classroom would be 36 hours.
HPIN 211 Advanced Building Envelope
Building on Building Envelope Performance Principles, Advanced Building Envelope provides the required education for larger MURB's and Commercial construction allowing Inspectors to move on to Commercial Inspection certification. Time in a conventional classroom would be 36 hours.
HPIN 252 & 352 Strata Depreciation Reporting
Strata councils have new reports required to satisfy additions to the Strata Property Act. With additional education, Home and Commercial Property Inspectors can provide these reports. Time in a conventional classroom would be 36 hours for each course.
